Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and author who won several awards. Ali MacGraw is famous for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. Her first position was a photo assistant. Then she moved on to acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her first two movies and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. MacGraw became a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within three years, she had been voted as the top female box office participant in the entire world. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, was released. MacGraw's been married three different occasions.
