Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, performer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. She then acted in numerous Broadway performances before she was the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In 1957, she also launched her first album of music named It's time to Tina. Louise began with her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. The film was a massive success, and Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. In 1964, she signed with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character against her famous image as the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she has also become a renowned director on popular TV shows such as Supernatural and The 100. Born on 28 August 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has remained there ever since.
