Lita Rossana Ford also known as Lita Ford as she is more commonly known as was an American born British guitarist and singer who led the women-only hard rock band The Runaways during the late 1970s. Although the band was not success in The United States, it gained enormous popularity overseas. Ford began a solo heavy metal career after the disbandment of her group in 1979. After taking vocal lessons she released her solo debut album, 'Out for Blood'. This was followed by the release of her second album, 'Dancin"On The Edge'. Following the release of 'Black' in 1995, and then 'Wicked Wonderland 15 years afterwards it was back in the spotlight. "Time Capsule," her debut album "Time Capsule" was released in the year 2016 by her. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the Certified Guitar Legend Award.
