Lita Rossana Ford (also known by the name Lita Ford) is a British born American guitar vocalist who played as the lead vocalist in The Runaways a female hard rock group in the 1970s. They were noticed for their provocative lyrics and punkish design. Although the band was not success within their home country of the United States, it gained huge popularity abroad. Ford had a long and prosperous career as a solo heavy metal musician after the group broke up up in 1979. She began voice lessons, and recorded her first solo album , 'Out For Blood' and 'Dancin' On the Edge. Ford failed to make much with either album and remained out of the realm of rock for a decade. The smash hit album "Lita" was made available by Ford in the year 1988. The single 'Kiss Me Deadly and the ballad "Close My Eyes Forever were both big success. The success of her was brief and after a couple of more years, she disappeared. After releasing 'Black, in 1995, as well as 'Wicked Wonderland just 15 years later, she reemerged.
