Lita Rossana Ford is born in Britain and was an American musician, singer and songwriter. In the late 70s she was the lead guitar for the hard-rocking all-girl group The Runaways. The band was not able to make a significant impact in the United States but earned huge recognition abroad, particularly in Japan. Ford's solo career in heavy metal had a great success following the split of the band. She began to take voice lessons followed by her first album "Out for Blood", followed by "Dancin" in the Edge. Ford disappeared for a few decades from the world of music following the albums' failure to receive any attention. It was 1988 when she debuted her most successful album "Lita". Kiss Me Deadly, and Close My Eyes Forever both were huge hits. Unfortunately, her popularity was only temporary and she was absent from the music industry for several years. After releasing 'Black, in 1995, as well as 'Wicked Wonderland 15 years afterwards it was back in the spotlight. Her most recent album "Time Capsule" was released in the year 2016.
