Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam with Chinese ancestry while Winston Barrett Munn's family is roots that go back to the American South. Olivia was just two years old when her parents split up. Her family consisted of her stepfather as well as her mother who was a United States Air Force member. While the family left Oklahoma and lived in a variety of locations, she was mainly raised in Tokyo, Japan. In this period, Olivia was a part of several theater productions. In later years, she became an Japanese model. As the family retreated back to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Through a string of small performances, Olivia achieved success in her first major role in the role of Mily Acua in the Hawaii television show Beyond the Break 2006 and the receptionist for Rob Schneider. She hosts podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" as well as "The Daily Nut". She is a fan of surfing, something she continues practicing since the television series Beyond the Break (2006). The black belt she holds is the martial art of taekwondo. In the age of two, her mom remarried. She was married a US Air Force serviceman. The family has moved numerous times. She was a majority of her youth in Tokyo Japan because that is the place where her father worked. Attending her at University of Oklahoma where she was a journalist with minors in Japanese and dramatic art.
