Hayley orrantia was born and raised in America. She is primarily an actor, however she is also a songwriter and singer. People are most familiar with the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. She believes that she is an artist first and foremost. According to her, music is the first thing that interests her. It is something she has been dabbling in since the age of nine years old. At the age of 12 her music began to take on a serious nature and she began to train professionally. In the age of 13, she began making music. The first time she recorded an album in the age of 14. Since then, she has not been back. Orrantia has Hispanic roots, however she was born in the USA. She is a native of Hispanic roots even though she spoke English when she was a kid and her whole life was in America. She endeavours to keep it alive by becoming fluent in Spanish and creating songs in the Spanish language. She recorded an Spanish version of a song entitled 'Hasta Verte. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first Season of The X Factor. Orrantia took home the very first season of the X Factor when she uploaded a YouTube audition video. She was awarded four "yes" vote of the judge in the live stage audition in Seattle. The first time she was auditioning for soloist, she and three female singers were put in the final auditions of "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated in the fifth week during the live program.
